Icom and JARL authorise an international D-STAR on-air event running over the year-end holidays, from 27 December 2026 to 5 January 2027 UTC. Operators worldwide can make D-STAR contacts throughout the period.

ERMINAZ-2 Satellites Transmit First Signals
Three ERMINAZ-2 small satellites from AMSAT-DL in Bochum launched on 1 October and were released from their deployer about a week earlier than planned. Two have been heard by the Bochum observatory ground station; the third has not yet reported.
